Kathmandu (Nepal), Jun 06 (ANI): Baya weaver birds in Nepal’s Kathmandu made gourd-shaped hanging nests on a single tree, making for a beautiful spectacle for the locals to enjoy. The beautiful architecture by these birds brought liveliness in the Kathmandu area which, like the rest of the country, has gone silent as all economic activities have taken a hit due to COVID-19 lockdown. A local said, “These birds have made the silent Kathmandu lively through their chirping, during lockdown. We come here in morning to see them. It is a pleasant sight.”
