Delhi Police organises G Murali Trophy 2023

New Delhi, March 06 (ANI): Delhi Police organised a friendly T20 cricket match of the G Murali Trophy between the teams of CP-XI and Media-XI at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Delhi Police Commissioner was the chief guest at the match and remained present during the toss before the start of the match. Many senior officers along with veteran journalists were also present. During this occasion, CP Delhi paid floral tributes to G Murali. G Murali Trophy match between CP-XI and Media-XI is played every year in the month of February-March in memory of Late Journalist G Murali. This year, the CP-XI team was led by Vijay Singh while Suresh Jha captained the Media-XI. The Media-XI team won the match by 37 runs.Speaking on the occasion, CP Delhi appreciated the efforts of organisers for organising the match every year in memory of their late colleague and wished all the best to both teams. During this event, winners and runner-ups were given trophies by the DCP of Central District Sanjay Kumar Sain.
