Government announces COVID norms effective immediately

Gandhinagar (Gujarat), Dec 24 (ANI): Updating on the fresh COVID-19 guidelines amid emerging BF.7 variant scare, Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya on December 24 informed that RT-PCR test will be mandatory for international arrivals from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand. “RT-PCR test to be mandatory for international arrivals from China, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand. On arrival, if any passenger from these countries is found symptomatic or tests positive for Covid19, then he or she will be put under quarantine,” said Health Minister Dr Mansukh Mandaviya.
