Israel-Gaza war| Iran warns Israel of regional escalation if ‘aggressions do not stop’ against Hamas

New Delhi, Oct 16 (ANI): Israel has shown no mercy in demolishing the Hamas’ hideouts after latter ‘surprise attack’ on October 07. Israeli jets and warships have destroyed major terrorists’ hideouts as part of Israel’s high–scale retaliation. Top Hamas commanders have been killed, many are under IDF’s radar after the Israeli PM vowed to demolish Hamas. Now, Iran warned Israel of regional escalation if it failed to end aggressions against Palestinians. Earlier, Iran’s top authority Ayatollah Ali Khamenei hailed Hamas’ attack on Israel and backed Palestine. However, on Oct 10, Ayatollah Khamenei outrightly rejected Tehran’s involvement in the Hamas attack. Also, IDF said that it is completing preparations for a “significant ground operation” in the Gaza Strip. IDF emphasised that the operation would include a “joint and coordinated attack from the air, sea and land”. IDF expected to launch ground invasion in the Gaza Strip, but its extent may be affected by operational considerations.
