Kuwait fire tragedy: Mortal remains of victims to arrive in Kochi, arrangements made to receive bodies

Kochi (Kerala), June 14 (ANI): At least 45 people died after a fire broke out in a building housing workers in the city of Mangaf in southern Kuwait. As many as twenty-three residents of Kerala were among 45 Indians who died in the fire incident on June 12. A special IAF aircraft carrying mortal remains of 31 Indian victims to reach Kerala on June 14. The special IAF aircraft is expected to arrive at the Cochin airport at around 10.20 am. Security heightened and ambulances have been deployed at the airport in Kochi. Union Minister Suresh Gopi also arrived at Cochin airport to receive the mortal remains of victims. All the arrangements put in place to receive the mortal remains who died in the fire incident.
