PM Modi breaks security protocol, walks on the streets of Kerala despite receiving a death threat

New Delhi, Apr 25 (ANI): PM Modi began his public outreach in Kerala as he held a mega roadshow in Kochi on April 24. He, in his traditional Keralan attire, strolled down a street surrounded by supporters. Notably, PM Modi’s Kerala visit comes days after he received a death threat from anonymous person. Kerala BJP Chief K Surendran said that he received a letter about a conspiracy to assassinate PM Modi. “No one can stop Prime Minister Modi,” said BJP Kerala Chief K Surendran about a letter. However, Kerala Police arrested a person in this regard, who later identified as Xavier. Kochi City Police Commissioner K Sethu Raman said that the reason behind the threat was personal enmity. Notably, PM Modi covered an almost 2-km-long route that began from INS Garuda naval air station. People queued up on both sides of the road and cheered for the PM showering flower petals on him.
