As the Israel-Hamas war crossed the one-month mark, a ceasefire seems nowhere near the horizon. India has cleared its stance over attack by Hamas on Israel on October 7 and termed it “a terrorist attack”. The White House on Nov 08 also stated that it has left it to the Indian Govt to decide the country’s stance on any particular crisis. Replying to a question on India’s stance on the Israel-Palestine conflict, US NSC Coordinator John Kirby cleared the White House’s stance. Notably, this statement from the White House comes ahead of India-US 2+2 Ministerial Dialogue. US Defense Secretary Austin, State Secretary Blinken will co-chair dialogue with India’s Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh and EAM Jaishankar. The dialogue will provide a platform for top-level discussions between India-US, with special emphasis on developments unfolding in Indo-Pacific region
