Widespread protests in PoK ring alarm bells for Islamabad

Muzaffarabad, PoK, 05 November, 2019:- Protests in Pakistan occupied Kashmir that erupted in the wake of police crackdown on peaceful demonstrations have gathered huge momentum now. People from all sections of society are out on the streets demanding justice in the police violence on 22nd October that led to the killing on one innocent and injuries to several others. Protesters allege that this has been the modus operandi of the establishment which uses brute force to muzzle all kinds of opinions and dissents. Recalling this year’s incident the leaders say that it was nothing short of the mayhem unleashed by Pakistani forces in 1947 when they invaded their territory.
